A Connection Between Two Musical Metropolises Venice and Vienna – two cities that have significantly shaped the world of classical music. Venice, the home of Antonio Vivaldi, was once a vibrant center of Baroque music, attracting the greatest masters of opera and chamber music for centuries. Vienna, the city of Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, is considered the cradle of classical music tradition. This concert forms a harmonious bridge between these two cultural capitals and brings their heritage to life in a unique performance. An Evening of Virtuosity and Emotion Under the direction of Prof. Igor Cognolato, an internationally renowned pianist, educator, and juror, exceptional young artists present their masterful interpretations. Cognolato, who has mentored many talented students at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, is guiding a new generation of pianists who are gaining recognition throughout Europe. Program: Works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Charles Gounod, Alexander Scriabin, Maurice Ravel, Charles Tomlinson Griffes, and Sergei Prokofiev. Performing Pianists: Francesco Pascucci, Caterina Dominici, Karen Veronese, Andrea Marinelli, Claudia Zanatta, Elias Keller, Miruna Maciuca, Simone Mao, and Lucia Canali.
