Kochetova Broström Duo

Swedish saxophonist Håkan Broström and pianist Katarina Kochetova have performed together extensively in Håkan’s quartet, appearing at prestigious venues across Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, Spain, and beyond. This concert marks their first-ever duo performance, live at Tunnel in Vienna. Kochetova - originally from Kyiv and raised in Belgrade - is a rising star of the European jazz scene, acclaimed for her debut album Beyond Motion and collaborations with international greats such as Seamus Blake and Jure Pukl. Broström, one of Sweden’s most celebrated jazz saxophonists, has led numerous ensembles, released acclaimed recordings, and performed with legends including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Maria Schneider, and Chris Potter. Their Vienna debut will feature an intimate mix of original compositions and rarely-heard jazz standards.
