The Intimacy of Harm by Ella When we relate to each other, it is inevitable that we will cause harm - this is simply a part of being human, being messy, and being conditioned by the societies we are parts of. Making mistakes is scary, Causing harm is painful. How can we transform moments of pain into moments of closeness? In this workshop we combine open discussions with embodied exercises, allowing us to dive deeper into an exploration of the mechanisms that are activated within us when we cause harm. How can we be safe people when receiving feedback? How do we imagine accountability? and how can we forgive ourselves when we behave in imperfect and harmful ways? 180 min The workshop is held in English. This is a clothes on event. Please bring along pens, paper, stuffed animals or other comfort items. Ella is a compassionate intimacy activist known for creating safe workshop spaces where the societal armor can be left at the door. They skillfully simplify complex theories and use humor to tackle heavy subjects with lightheartedness, while still honoring emotional depth.
