University Medicine & Sustainability The Paracelsus Medical University, in collaboration with the AAHCI (Alliance of Academic Health Centers International) and its European regional Office in Zurich, cordially invites you to the International Symposium. Sustainability is one of the central challenges of the 21st century and is closely linked to key issues such as environmental stewardship, social justice, and economic equity. This symposium will focus on the important role and responsibility of universities and academic medical centers in promoting sustainability. International leaders and experts from academic health centers, medical universities, the health and technology sectors, and health policymakers will come together to discuss how academic medicine and university hospitals can contribute to achieving sustainability goals. It will cover a wide range of topics, including sustainable practices in patient care, teaching, research, and the technological aspects of sustainability, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence.
