READING / POETRY SLAM by Shari Klein Pleasure Poetry Slam hosted by the Pleasure Society

The Pleasure Poetry Slam is a hot, sexy event where performers, poets and spoken word artists will take the stage and share their words. Originally an event based in Amsterdam, the Pleasure Society is spreading her wings into international territory and landing during the Porn Film Festival Vienna. Expect an evening full of the erotic you might not have yet experienced: those of words, performance and poetry.

Performers can sign up in advance by sending an email to shari@pleasuresociet.nl before April 1st. There's always room for spontaneous performers on the night, so don't be shy.

Shari Klein (she/her) is the founder of the Pleasure Society, a platform for sexuality. Her aim is to open up the conversation around sexuality, pleasure and intimacy in a creative, playful and fun way. The Pleasure Society's mission is simple but bold: to create a space where people feel empowered to explore their sexuality without judgment. We believe that pleasure is a right, and we’re here to normalize the conversation around it.

What to expect: Nobody is obliged to speak — only those who have signed up in advance, or anyone who feels comfortable joining spontaneously if there’s space.

IMPORTANT: Please arrive at the entrance of AIDS Hilfe Wien at least 10 minutes before the workshop begins. You will be picked up there and accompanied to the workshop room.
