MØNTAGE CAMP – Sound and Media Art Research Festival
A temporary lab to patch tools, sounds, wires, feedback and friends.

Montage Camp is a 7-day sonic playground, a research festival for experimental, electro(acoustic) music and media art. Artists, tinkerers, scientists, listeners, loners and collectives: bring your tools, tricks, projects and unfinished thoughts. For seven days, we build a shared space between Austrians mountains and media landscapes. A place to connect practices, disciplines and people through sound, media and experimentation.
This year we are placing a thematic and practical focus on performance as a time-based, bodily, spatial, and collective event that expands musical and sound-based practices.

Residency Space: The „Kunsthaus am Schneeberg - Urhof20“ is a cultural venue in southern Lower Austria that has been dedicated to the production of contemporary media and performance art since 2008. www.kunsthaus-gas.com
Traveling: By car: 1 hour By train: 1 hour 10 minutes ->10 minutes on foot - train station „Grünbach am Schneeberg“, connection train to Wr.Neustadt - Vienna 5 minutes walk to Billa, tobacconist and post office
Accommodations: Camping There is the possibility to pitch your tent directly in the garden of the festival area, the places are limited! (no additional costs)
Shared bedroom A mattress in a shared dormitory, 15 minutes walk from the festival site. 15€ per night & person
Individual room A room with two beds—come with a partner or share with another camp participant. 15 minutes from the festival site. 24€ per night & person

Cancellation: It is free up to 2 weeks before the event. After that, 50% will be refunded. From August 8th, no refunds will be possible.
