Nuovo Testamento, the three-piece group of singer Chelsey Crowley, electronic drummer Giacomo Zatti, and keyboardist Andrea Mantione, released their debut album New Earth in 2021. It was a dark, danceable record that drew from all the rose-tinted memories we have of 80s dance-pop and Hi-NRG tracks. Their sophomore album, 2023’s Love Lines, went even further to cement their coldwave-meets-pop bona-fides, with songs like “Heartbeats” sounding like it could have come straight out of Madonna’s early recordings. We’re creatures of nostalgia when it comes to music, but nostalgia alone doesn’t make this band great. Come see yourself and get lost in their discoteca italia sound! Happy to have them back after only one year!
Berlin-based, Curses is known for blending the dark-romantic elements of post- punk with the heavy hitting energy of all things under the electronic body music spectrum. With 2 albums on Dischi Autunno, a special edition LP on Paris fashion brand, Saint Laurent, music for Calvin Klein, Raf Simons, and Dior campaigns, the live show brings these records to the stage as as a duo: Luca Venezia on washed-out reverb drenched Guitar and Vocals, Dame Bonnet on rolling Bass and metallic E-drum snares. The performance is never the same, channeling early Kraut-Rock experimentation and jamming, weaving in and out of the album material.
