Vegan Speeddating Graz

Am Samstag, dem 14. November, findet in Graz zum ersten Mal ein Veganes Speeddating statt – für alle Veganer:innen, die lieber reden als swipen! Das Event ist eine Kooperation zwischen Café Erde, dem Veganen Stammtisch und Plant-Based Universities in Graz.

Teilnehmen können alle Veganer:innen ab dem 18. Lebensjahr, die daten möchten!

Der Ablauf ist ganz einfach und unkompliziert: Du gibst vorab an, welche Geschlechter und welches Alter du daten möchtest – wir haben dafür gesorgt, dass du vor Ort dann auch mit jedem potentiellen Match ins Gespräch kommst, wenn du das möchtest. Angepasst an die Zahl der Anmeldungen und an regelmäßige Pausen zwischendurch, werden wir die Dauer der Gesprächsrunden dann länger oder kürzer gestalten. Damit das Event für alle Teilnehmer:innen möglichst angenehm wird, kannst du auch vor Ort noch jederzeit deine Teilnahme beenden, pausieren, etwas an deiner Datingpräferenz abändern oder einzelne Teilnehmer:innen aus deiner Matchingliste ausschließen – das Matchingprogramm wird die Paring-Runden also immer flexibel in Echtzeit bestimmen. Dafür bekommt jede:r beim Einlass eine Nummer zugewiesen, die man sichtbar an der Kleidung trägt. Außerdem bekommst du einen Zettel, auf dem du während der Runden die Nummern jener Personen notieren kannst, mit denen du dir noch mehr Kontakt wünschst – erst wenn ihr beide Interesse habt, bekommt ihr die von euch für den Austausch bekanntgegebenen Informationen zugesendet.

Vor Ort wird es außerdem Ansprechpersonen geben, an die du dich bei Sorgen, Wünschen oder Anliegen jeglicher Art wenden kannst. Da uns Inklusion bei der Vorbereitung ein großes Anliegen war, wird das Event zudem auf Englisch moderiert und der Zugang wird barrierefrei möglich sein.

Beachte bitte, dass du mit der Anmeldung zum Event auch der Verarbeitung deiner Daten für das Speeddating wie oben beschrieben zustimmst.

Abschließend kommen hier nochmal kompakt die Teilnahmebedingungen:

• Du bist mind. 18 Jahre alt und lebst vegan. • Am Event dürfen aus Datenschutzgründen keine Fotos gemacht werden. • Bitte achte auf einen respektvollen Umgang und Hygiene.

Sollte sich jemand nicht an die Teilnahmebedingungen halten, nehmen wir uns die Freiheit heraus, diese Person zu bitten, die Veranstaltung zu verlassen (ohne refund)!

Bei zu wenig Teilnehmer:innen werden wir das Event absagen müssen – in diesem Fall bekommt ihr natürich euer Geld zurück.

On Saturday, 14 November, Graz will host it's very first vegan speed dating event – for all vegans who prefer talking to swiping! The event is a collaboration between Café Erde, the Vegan Stammtisch and Plant-Based Universities Graz.

The event is open to all vegans aged 18 and over who are interested in dating!

The format is simple: Before the event, you let us know which genders you would like to date and what age range you’re interested in. We’ll make sure you have the opportunity to talk to every potential match at the event, if you wish. Depending on the number of registrations, we’ll adjust the length of the rounds accordingly, with regular breaks in between. To make the event as comfortable as possible for everyone, you can end your participation, take a break, change your dating preferences or exclude individual participants from your matching list at any time during the event. The matching software will dynamically determine the pairings in real time, allowing for maximum flexibility. When you arrive, you’ll be assigned a number that you must wear visibly on your clothing. You’ll also receive a sheet of paper on which you can note down the numbers of people you’d like to get in touch with. Your contact details will only be shared if both you and the other person express mutual interest. In that case, you’ll receive the contact information that each of you has agreed to share within the following few days.

There will also be members of the organising team at the venue whom you can turn to with any concerns, wishes or other requests. Inclusion was a key priority in planning this event, which is why it will be moderated in English and held at a wheelchair-accessible venue.

Please note that by registering for the event, you also consent to the processing of your personal data for the speed dating event as described above!

Participation requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years old and live a vegan lifestyle. • For privacy and personal safety reasons, photography is not permitted at the event. • Please treat everyone with respect and be mindful of personal hygiene.

Anyone who fails to comply with these participation requirements may be asked to leave the event without a refund.

Please note: If there are not enough participants, we will have to cancel the event. In that case, of course, you will receive a full refund.
